About Val Fiott
Val Fiott is a nationally-certified Medical Exercise Specialist with over 30 years of experience in mobility maintenance, post-rehab, and functional restoration post surgery or cardiovascular intervention. His career spans clinical collaboration, private coaching, and professional education—earning him a reputation as a trusted leader in the integration of exercise science and medical recovery.
A former Corporate Physical Health Director, Val holds multiple health and wellness certificates from Harvard, Yale, and other Ivy League institutions. First certified as a fitness professional in 1994, he has since coached more than 1,000 clients, tailoring science-based strategies to their individual needs. Throughout his career, Val has been a vocal advocate for evidence-based exercise as a cornerstone of both recovery and long-term health. This commitment was most visible during his 14 years as a Subject Matter Expert for the American Council on Exercise, where he contributed to shaping national certification standards.
Val is most known for his ability to guide clients through complex recovery paths—including post-surgical reconditioning, chronic injury management, neurological stabilization, and metabolic health enhancement. His methods improve mobility, restore joint integrity, enhance cardiovascular capacity, and reduce re-injury risk, all while bridging the critical gap between physical therapy discharge and full functional independence.
